How to reach Maratea
Maratea is easily reachable thanks to its position just a few kilometers from the motorway exit and on the coastal railway line.
By car
FROM NORTH
Take the exit of the A2 motorway Lagonegro Nord-Maratea, direct connection on the state road 585 “Fondovalle del Noce” with three possibilities of exit: Maratea Nord, with remarkable panoramic sceneries, Maratea Centro to arrive by car directly to the historic center or Maratea South, covering all 28 km of the SS 585.
FROM SOUTH
Take the Strada Statale 18 and exit at Lauria Sud and then continue along the Fondovalle del Noce.
By train
Maratea has three railway stations available: Maratea, Acquafredda and Marina. These are located along the Rome-Reggio Calabria national line and the Maratea-Sapri or Maratea-Praia a Mare regional line.
